There was not an empty seat in the house as the ITF World Tennis Tour: Timaru came to a head at the Trust Aoraki Tennis Centre on the weekend.

American Christian Langmo triumphed 7-6, 6-3 over Taipei’s Yu Hsiou Hsu in the men’s final, while Swiss number one seed Leonie Kung dominated Great Britain’s Naiktha Bains 6-1, 6-2 seize the women’s title.
