Caroline Bay was buzzing on Sunday for the annual Primeport Timaru Ocean Swim.
Swimmers competed across 500m, 1.5km, 2.5km and 5km distances.
Thomas Cave posted the fastest time in the 500m race with 9min 12.4sec.
Josh Young took out the 1.5km race with a time of 18min 11.7sec and Riley Taylor became the first swimmer in the history of the event to win both the 2.5km and 5km races with times of 32min 01.6sec and 58min 39sec respectively.
