Global stage for graphics company

Supporting motocross . . . Director of Un4Seen Decals Jeremy McKnight is proud to be supporting New Zealand motocross.

Hard work and dedication has led to Timaru business Un4Seen Decals providing all the graphics for the New Zealand motocross team at the ISDE (International Six Days Enduro) event in France.

Director Jeremy McKnight said the business supported the top race teams and all the motocross teams in New Zealand.

‘‘The ISDE team came to us and asked if we could do the graphics for when they go to France.

‘‘That was exciting, so we did that for them.’’

The business began in 2014 after Mr McKnight started his clothing business.

He said he always wanted to put those same logos and designs on motorbikes but had trouble with other companies messing him around.

‘‘[So I decided] I’ll do it myself, and I now have complete control over it and it has grown into what it is now and we send graphics all over the world.’’

They had been working and pushing hard the past four to five years to get to where they were, he said.

‘‘We worked really hard to get to this point.

‘‘Every day we are sending graphics to Australia at the moment, which is pretty cool.’’

Everything is done in Timaru, and a lot of their work is sent to the North Island as well as worldwide.

There were eight staff who liked giving their customers a huge range of choices when it came to the designs they produced, creating something for everyone, he said.

‘‘Our designers are very skilled, and we can’t be replicated because the time and effort that goes into our designs is beyond what most can do.

‘‘So it’s really cool giving that difference and being unique.’’

Mr McKnight said Covid›19 gave them a lot of time to work on the business and develop it in a direction where it could continue to grow.

‘‘Sometimes you’re forever working and working, and never really have time to stop to ask ‘Where do you want to go?’’’

He said they were always learning from their mistakes and continuing to grow to be able to achieve their goal.

‘‘I think it’s easy for people to give up, but you’ve just got to keep pushing and then things start happening for you.

‘‘We want to be the best that we can at what we are doing.

‘‘Being real good at what we do is our No 1 goal.’’
