Classic cars and entertainment aplenty were on show in Timaru for the Caroline Bay Rock and Hop over the weekend. Reporter Connor Haley captured some of the retro action.

Full throttle . . . Caroline Bay was packed with cars and people for this year’s Rock & Hop.
Surf’s up . . . A trio of old school Volkswagens caught the eye of many in attendance.
Day in the sun . . . Crowds were treated to a plethora of entertainment over the course of the weekend, including a speed tyre changing competition.
Flame on . . . A 1939 Ford Deluxe and 1955 Ford F100 shone in the weekend sun.
Glistening . . . A pristine 1955 Chevrolet Delivery was one of many newly-restored vehicles on display.
Rusty gold . . . A 1928 Ford Model A and a 1928 Ford Model A Tourer proved that age is just a number.
’70s muscle . . . A 1970 Chrysler Valiant Pacer had many heads turning.
