Sharing sweetness

Geraldine High School pupils are delivering sweet treats this Easter, to the delight of recipients.
The high school’s annual Easter Basket project has returned to deliver Easter eggs to elderly residents.
Connie McFarlane (15), one of the project’s co-ordinators, said about 250 baskets had been made up, featuring chocolate treats and tissues which were bought after a mufti day at the school.
“We’ve been doing this for around six or seven years,” she said. “It’s a nice chance to give back to the community.”
Geraldine resident Patricia Vernall greeted Nerissa Murphy (16), Connie and Lydia Wilson (14) when they knocked on her door to wish her a happy Easter last week, armed with one of the baskets.
“Thank you so much,” Mrs Vernall said.”Happy Easter to you girls and all. I do appreciate it very much, every year.”Sneakers StoreNike
