The Centrewood Fete is returning.
The country fete will be held on October 29 on the grounds in Centrewood, Mill Rd, Waimate, after a break last year.
Spokeswoman Cate Herlihy said the once-annual event would now be held every two years.
“The Centrewood Fete began in 2010 and ran annually for six years. We took a break last year and have now decided it will be a biennial event.”
The fete would be set among the established gardens of the historic Centrewood Estate, surrounds the 110-year-old French-style homestead.
“There will be boutique stallholders there.
“It’s a great day for Christmas shopping, catching up with friends and family, sampling the local cuisine and being entertained by live music while you sit and relax or shop.”
Organisers were looking for new stallholders.
“If there are any local groups wanting to fundraise, we are happy to donate stall sites.”
