Primary school pupils from around South Canterbury flocked to the grounds of Waihi School last Thursday for the SC Primary Schools Cross-country.
Wet weather delayed the event from Tuesday to Thursday but the mud still made an appearance for many of the young runners in years 6-8 racing around the track. The Courier reporter Greta Yeoman joined the crowds.
