South Canterbury skier Willis Feasey is one three finalists for the Snow Sports NZ alpine ski racer of the year award, alongside Alice Robinson and Adam Barwood, both of Queenstown.
His coach, Nils Coberger, from alpine ski training institution the Coberger Academy, is a finalist in the coach of the year category.
Feasey, ranked 44th in the world, has competed at multiple New Zealand competitions this year, and at international competitions in Australia, Korea, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia and the United States.
He won first place in the giant slalom event during the Wanaka Tech Series at the start of the month.
Feasey won the alpine ski racer of the year award last year.
Nine Snow Sports NZ awards winners will be announced at an awards evening in Wanaka on September 30.
