Timaru vet Gundy Gregor-Scott will be flying out of New Zealand next month – but not for a holiday.
She has volunteered to work at a vet’s clinic in Rarotonga for two weeks.
“I had rung up another organisation, Spaw (South Pacific Animal Welfare), about going to Tonga – they had enough people and suggested I ring about Rarotonga.
“It’s nice to be able to help the animals who otherwise don’t have a vet.”
She will be working mainly with cats and dogs.
“I’m looking forward to it. I imagine they will be busy.
“I also want to take over supplies in our clinic which we no longer need.
“There are all sorts of things they need and could use.”
Mrs Gregor-Scott leaves on December 1, and will not be paid during her time in Rarotonga.best Running shoes30 Winter Outfit Ideas to Kill It in 2020 – Fashion Inspiration and Discovery
