Hats the way to raise funds

Snow did not deter five dedicated women from getting out and about for charity last week.
Alzheimers South Canterbury staff and volunteers Rose Davidson, Joy Leonard, Denise Stuart, Jill Frame and Val Robertson trod the streets of Timaru on Friday last week, raising funds.
Alzheimers South Canterbury administrator Rose Davidson said about $2000 was raised during Keep Your Hat On Today, on Friday last week.
‘‘Snow didn’t deter us. We are warm and all the funds we raise help us look after our clients here in South Canterbury,’’ she said.
‘‘All the funds raised today stay in South Canterbury.’’
Alzheimers South Canterbury is required to raise $165,000 a year to keep its team in the community helping clients. The organisation assists, supports and educates those in the South Canterbury area who are affected by dementia or Alzheimers.latest RunningNike
