Grantlea Downs School rocked the stage in Auckland last month at the national primary schools’ Jump Jam competition.

The nine-member GD Dudes were placed fourth in New Zealand in their section, were the top South Island boys’ team, and member Luke Mitchell won “The Idol” for his solo routine, making him the top boy in New Zealand.

The team also came away with five certificates – distinction in presentation, excellences in sportsmanship and technical execution, and merits in creativity and costume.

Parent Vicky Mitchell said the boys performed amazingly well, especially given their music stopped part-way through their first attempt.

They were given the opportunity to start over, and carried on like troupers, she said.url cloneNike Air Max 720 “By You” Black/Hyper Crimson-University Red To Buy
