A splash of colour is brightening things up on the Roncalli College sports scene.

The school, which recently held its annual cross-country at Timaru’s Botanic Gardens, added a colour run to the day’s activities.

While not all pupils opted to participate in the more competitive cross-country course, all had to join in the colour fun run/walk.

Teacher Jose Zandbergen said there were plenty of youngsters keen to participate in the fun run, which involved paint stations and hoses.

A water slide also proved “very popular”, she said.

“There were a lot of laughs and smiles, which was great to see. Well done to all students who participated.”

She also thanked the many teachers who helped make the day another success.Running sneakersAIR MAX PLUS
