South Canterbury Cancer Society is grateful for the work of Allan Andrews.
Mr Andrews, a former farmer, has written a book detailing a range of topics from farming to cricket and his battle with cancer.
It was his cancer journey that prompted him to donate $5 from every book sold to the Cancer Society. So far he has donated a combined $1000 – $400 to the South Canterbury division, $400 to North Otago and $200 to Ashburton.
South Canterbury Cancer Society manager Leola Smith accepted a cheque from Mr Andrews last week.
“We’re absolutely thrilled, obviously, to receive a $400 donation to go towards our patients’ cancer journey in South Canterbury,” Ms Smith said.jordan release dateNike
