The South Canterbury Museum’s Heritage Education Service provides a great learning resource for all schoolchildren.

Museum educators are experienced teachers who work with schools to develop appropriate programmes that focus on nature, history and technology topics.
The museum’s exhibitions and collections provide a wide range of unique resources that enhance learning through handson experiences. In addition, museum educators will take sessions at local nature and historical sites, and in other museums around the region.
