Joiner takes pride in doing quality job


Craig Bleeker prides himself on delivering high quality joinery.
Mr Bleeker can be found on Martin St in Washdyke where he owns, operates and manages CB Joinery Limited, with his wife Sarah.
He brings 20 years’ experience to the table.
Born and raised in Timaru, he completed a four-year apprenticeship here and has since gained a reputation for quality craftsmanship here and overseas.
Mr Bleeker has worked in and around South Canterbury and also spent time plying his trade in Australia and the United Kingdom where he doorknocked for work and gained extensive experience on high-end projects including highrise apartments and nightclubs.
His wife, Sarah, is part of the business, balancing administration tasks for the operation while raising their three young children.
Mr Bleeker said communication was a key factor in delivering a better service.
‘‘It’s about listening and working closely alongside the client to address what the client wants and delivering it to them on time.’’
Every space was different and it was a matter of adapting to the client’s needs, Mr Bleeker said.
‘‘I can adapt to whatever is required for people’s environments.’’

‘‘I’ve just always liked joinery. My grandfather was a joiner and he introduced me to it.
‘‘You are always learning. Every day you are learning and there are always new challenges.
‘‘I want to be a bit different and offer something extra, and key element.
‘‘It’s important to let clients know where you are at and keep in contact with them. I might not have something they are specifically looking for but I will take the time to cater to them.’’
