Children were in their element when they ventured to Timaru’s Strathallan Corner recently.
Plunket Bear, Elsa and a minion were among the characters who welcomed children and their caregivers to a sausage sizzle fundraiser.
Event organiser Jesse Shearer was on candyfloss duties.
Mr Shearer, a local real estate agent, instigated the fundraiser with the support of his workplace, with the aim of giving the proceeds to Plunket.
A warm sunny day was a motivating factor. for the project.
