As New Zealand Music Month winds up for another year, The Courier puts its final music-themed Five Questions to Waimate musician Kaylee Bell. Bell is a finalist in the MLT Songwriting Awards, the winner of which is to be announced tonight as part of the 2019 NZ Country Music Awards. She is up against seven other artists, including Tami Neilson, Jenny Mitchell, Miller Yule and Kendall Elise for the award. The annual awards ceremony – which includes Best Country Album and Best Country Song awards – is held in Gore, Southland.
