Icehouse is coming to New Zealand.
The Australian band has been confirmed for the annual Summer Concert Tour next January, with a show in Queenstown also featuring Alan Parsons Live Project and Bonnie Tyler.
The annual summer concert at Gibbston Valley Winery has proved popular with many South Canterbury residents.
Last year’s tour featured Huey Lewis and the News, REO Speedwagon and Melissa Etheridge. Other past acts have included the likes of Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Foreigner, Heart, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 10CC and The Doobie Brothers.
The January show will mark the first time Icehouse has headlined a New Zealand concert in 20 years.
The show will be held on Saturday, January 21. Tickets will go on sale on July 11.
